Mike brings more than 19 years of banking experience to his role as Market President in St. Peter. With nearly two decades of expertise in commercial and agricultural banking, Mike has worked closely with business owners and farmers across a wide range of industries. His deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by local businesses is rooted in personal experience.
In his role at Pioneer Bank, Mike is focused on building strong relationships with both new and longtime customers. He is committed to helping individuals, businesses, and communities thrive through personalized financial solutions, including deposit and loan products tailored to their goals.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He’s been actively involved in the community, having served on numerous boards including Greater Mankato Area United Way, Henderson Area Foundation, Henderson Chamber, Ankeny Swim Foundation, Ankeny Ambassador, and Mankato Young Professionals.
Originally from May City, Iowa, Mike now lives in St. Peter with his wife and children. Outside of work, he enjoys curling, hiking, golfing, camping, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending quality time with extended family. He’s also an avid fan of Minnesota’s four major sports teams and MSU Mankato hockey.
