Mankato Banker Appointed to National Council for Community Bank Leaders

November 22, 2022 (Mankato, MN)—American Bankers Association has selected David Krause, CEO, Pioneer Bank, to serve on ABA’s Community Bankers Council.

Krause attended the ABA Community Bankers Council meeting in Washington, November 14-16. Pioneer Bank Provided Over $65 Million in PPP Loans for Local Businesses Impacted by COVID-19, 10,000 Local Jobs Saved

North Mankato, MN (June 1, 2020)—Pioneer Bank announced today that it has processed more than 700 loans totaling over $65 million under the Small business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help local small businesses support payroll and related costs, saving approximately 10,000 jobs in Southern Minnesota. The average loan size was $95,000 as of May 27th, 2020. As of today, funding is still available and Pioneer Bank continues to accept applications. Pioneer Bank Begins Construction for Hilltop Mankato Location

Pioneer Bank to merge with Nicollet County Bank

North Mankato, MN (January 28, 2019)—One of southern Minnesota’s leading community banking organizations has reached an agreement to acquire Nicollet County Bank, located in St. Peter, Minnesota. Citizens Bank Group, Inc., parent company of Pioneer Bank will begin operating the bank shortly after April 1, 2019. The transaction is subject to approval by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
